The Skoll is delivered in raw steel.
This means:
• It needs to be oiled during the first uses
• It naturally seasons when heated
• It develops a protective patina over time
We recommend storing it away from humidity when not in use.
🔥 Usage tips & seasoning
Before first use:
1️⃣ Clean the surface with a dry cloth.
2️⃣ Apply a thin layer of vegetable oil (rapeseed, sunflower, or grapeseed).
3️⃣ Heat for 20 to 30 minutes.
4️⃣ Let cool naturally.
Repeat 2 to 3 times to create natural protection against oxidation.
After each use:
✔️ Empty the ashes
✔️ Clean the grates
✔️ Apply a light coat of oil if necessary
✔️ Store in a dry place
